I originally wrote these tracks in the late summer / early autumn of 2018, though I refined them and added the samples of speech earlier this year.

I was inspired primarily by classic and modern house music, especially music written by and in the vein of Larry Heard.

Whilst it might not be as immediately apparent, I was also strongly inspired by the short bursts of music featured in between scenes of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (which I was rewatching at the time). This applies most of all to the first two tracks.
